What are you getting for prices? Please tell us what you are paying and what options/packages are included? Where you are in the States/World would be interesting too.

Mine is going to be about 27k for a Cooper S almost fully loaded.

I paid $23,050 for my 2002 S, Sport, Premium and Cold packages, no leather or navigaton. This was from Hassel MINI of Freeport, NY, they sell strictly at MSRP, nothing is added to the car unless you request it.

Got my MCS for $28K, which included a $2K mark up. Got the car a month ago, though, and almost all dealers were charging a mark up -- $1700 to $8000 above sticker. So, I got a good deal for myself, especially since I got the car that day and drove away happy.

I got premium package, sport package, NAV, and leather seats. Dark silver on dark silver.

We bought the car in Los Angeles county.

Of course, there are some places where you can get the car at MSRP in SoCal, but you'll have to get on a waiting list that ranges from six to twelve months. Thanks, but no thanks. We wanted the car now, not six to twelve months from now.

My mom just bought a Cooper, not an S...but still similar market...Tate BMW/mini said that she had to pay a $300 "dealer option fee"...So that really isnt that bad above msrp

Purchasing ours from John Roberts BMW in Dallas, Texas, the price is at $22440. You can see the packages below in the signature. We ordered it on 9/25/02 and it arrived at the dealer on 11/29/02. We're going to finish the deal and pick it up tomorrow.
There was also an additional $2k dealer markup (the bastads)
