Some new news about my MINI Cooper S!!

I called the dealer today to see if anything had changed on my order... mainly with the Harman Kardon system.

He told me that the HK system delay did not effect my car since it was not ordered with it!! This was a bit confusing to me, but it makes sense now that I think back.

When the dealer called me to inform me that the HK system would delay the car, he asked me if I just wanted to remove it from the order, and get the car in December... or keep it and get the car in February. I told him that I would think about it and get back to him.

Now here is where the confusion steps in... I thought he said that if he didnt hear back from me, he would leave the order as is with the HK system. What he really said was that if he didnt hear back from me, he would change the order!

So... I just let the order go in, and found out what it actually was today!

That means my original production date of 9-27-02 is still true and I should get the car late November or early December!!!! WOO HOO!!!!

Sweet!! The stock stereo seemed perfectly adequate to me, and I'm always listening to music. Your car is going to be a 2003 model year correct?

I have 12 hours left until I take delivery of my MC.... I doubt I'll be able to sleep.... these 12 hours are going to be looong

Well... I won't be down in SD area with the car for a while. I'm going to a prep school in NJ right now, so I live out here and this is where the car will be for the rest of this school year. I spend most of my time away from school in San Clemente (not TOO far from SD

) but the car won't be coming with me on vacations. Then depending on where I go to college, will depend on where I'll be next year... UCSD is one of my top choices though... so in not too long I may be in the SD area..... ok, thats enough typing for now

Dave, we have the stock stereo in our MCS too. It sounds perfectly fine.

Sounds like I will have someone to hang around with in December! Nice.
