| i had a lady come into my store the other day (i work in a golf store) she owned a new vw golf, and had a cart style bag... a cart bag is a bit smaller than a staff bag, with alot more pockets. she can fit her clubs in her boot butshe takes out her driver... i dont think fitting in ur bag would be a problem but with a mens length driver (45inch) plus lets say 2inch for head cover and the bottom of the bag u may have a problem... what kind of bag do u have... if it came down to the crunch and u really liked the car i think an investment in a new golf bag is alot less hassle then finder another car.

| Never even tried. I always fold down the seats. Infact I don't think I can fit a cart bag with just one seat folded down. I don't use a driver, just a 2 wood and it could be part of the reason it won't fit. I am kinda surprised you can fit a cart bag in a Golf, maybe I got the wrong vehicle. Guess the new Golf is that much bigger.

| Just play minigolf. Then you just need the one putter and it's really short. Besides, they usually just loan you one when you pick up your colored ball. I hate the windmill obstacle, though. ![]() |

| I actually have a 46inch driver... i'm guessing thats a no then from you ESP? Yes i realise that folding the seats down is a option, but when your clubs live in the boot (play almost everyday) its not a good option. having a few thousand dollars worth of golf kit on display all the time isn't a good idea, well its not a good idea if you don't want your car broken into. thanks boys and girls, and on the same topic i saw someone manage to fit a staff bag, and a pull buggy with a seat in to the boot of a Nissan 350z, that was impressive...

| Correct, that's a no for me. I am sitting in the garage right now, clubs are in the other car but some of my extra clubs are here and I can barely get my 1 iron to fit with the seats up. I guess living in Florida where everyone seems to play golf you kinda slack on the clubs out of sight rule, there are wedges sitting in the back seat of all my cars, they like riding there over the trunk I guess. ![]()
