Top speed of MCS?

Just wondering what the top speed of the MCS is? Un-limited, of course.
Also, How do Minis feel at high speed? I've only ever driven up to around 80 mph in my friend's.

i think it depends on the gov. i got a GIAC software on mine, i got it up to 146 so far. i did a dyno pull on 6th gear and it will top out at 168mph. the ride was nice

no clue what it is, but me and my old were doing 180 in a mcs, little things are fast as hell

that was kmh's so roughly 112mph, which is still fast for one of thoes little cars...it was still pulling stronly too from that speed.

Oh! I was about to ask how you made a mini go 300km/h, but 180km/h isn't really that fast. Just about any car can do that. My moms honda civic hatch 170i does 195km/h and her BMW 320d 210km/h.

I burried the 150mph mark on mine while driving on the German Autobahn ... on the way to the Nurburgring Nordschleife of course

144mph are possible in an normal S

After the JCW-Package the topspeed is liftet up to 150mph, but thats nearly the end if you dont put more power and ohter gear ratio....

150 it reaches at nearly 7000 rpm, must be the same as you ACS!?!?

My '05 JCW MCS isn't limited to 150mph

But you are correct in stating there isn't much to offer after that anyway and it takes a lot of space on the Autobahn to get any higher.

been up to 130 in my MCS. Car felt solid as a freaking rock. Getting up to 130 is fun and the sound from the supercharger at WOT at those speeds is crazy.

The limiting factor on the MINI's top speed imo and from what I have read is the fact that it is aerodynamically a brick.

i was having some fun on a back country road in my MCS with my good friend following in his EVO8. our co-pilots were on the phone with each other. i hit the 150 mark in the mcs and it was still pulling even when my buddies evo was cutting out at 157. the car felt real strong even at those speeds, i was just more worried about loosing it on a bump. one thing is for sure though, that was a one time event! ill never do it again!!

bmw's figs state 143 but it will do a few above or below this but my mates 270 S will go a lot faster
