| I would say that the Mini Cooper is just too damn small to look like a masculine car. I like the way they look but I wouldn't own one myself. They make awsome track cars but for every day appearances I don't think I would be comfortable with one. In an ideal world we don't buy cars based on what other people think of us in them. But, this is not an ideal world and my vote is too small to command respect. I don't think they are gay but rather just not an alpha male car. I have nothing against minis and I enjoy seeing them on the road but just don't think it's the kind of car that would make a woman think twice about a guy's taste. After all, your car is an outward representation of your taste and personality. But, in the end it all comes down to what YOU want from a car. If it's perfect for your needs then get it. Don't base the decision on whether you believe the car appears gay or not.

| If the mini is not pink, it´s not girly, in addition S-version with performance. When Mini won Rally Monte Carlo in 70s, nobody laughed to racers. I think, that new beetle by vw is girly, TT by audi is girly, but mini not.

| Only as girly as your "little supercharged go-cart for the road" can be....... Many fond comments from the owners I have spoken to(even tho they just as curious about the M3 as I am about their S-type |

| My friend has a Cooper S she is quite a ditz who likes her hairdresser visits and the like.(she would agree herself with that statement) its yellow with silver stripes i drove it once and was very impressed... she wants the JCW kit or maybe something that will give her a touch more power. my verdict : It can depend but if your lokoing for a FWD drivers car this is a good choice and anyone who knows about cars will instantly say its badass (unless its one of those v8 drivers with 100hp and an open diff who dont know about their imminent flogging)

| There is nothing girly about a car that weighs 4lbs and handles like a skateboard. I recognize the performance and appeal of the Mini, but it IS girly. I only say this because the only people that drive them around here is 45 year old lesbians, or college chicks. There are a few mean ones around here, and I am not going to totally diss the car, but its a little sissy. That being said, I would still rock the Dunlops off of one. Don't care if they are girly. The value for your dollar, and the performance possibilities are impressive.
