best performing mini exhaust? hey guys, i'm looking for the most power-making exhaust on the market. I'm probably only going to do an exhaust until I get a job. money isn't really a problem for one part. Which exhaust makes the most power on the cooper s? I've heard borla makes the most (6-7). What do you guys think?

I have a used Digi tec exhaust with liek 400-500 miles on it if you would like. I can give it to you for a fair price. I bought it for 899. the gain is more then the borla, magnaflow, and supersprint, (8-12) and it has a pretty nice sound. I got rid of it cuz i got a new one. Let me know if your intrested

Did you look into Scorpion exhausts. They sound great, perform really well and it's T304 stainless steel from the cat back, unlike the Dinan. On the Dinan's exhaust they cut the stock center pipe at the first bend that would go into the first muffler, then they clamp a fart can with twin tips on it and charge you around 800 to get it and install it. They sound ok but I think the Scorpion flows better and sounds better(less like a honda fart can). The Scorpion system is a real bang for your buck coming in at only 549.99 for a full stainless cat back. here is a link so you can see the Scorpion system http://www.bavauto.com/shop.asp Hope that this helps On a side note, changing your intake and exhaust does not void the warrenty on your mini's. I talked to Mini Of Peabody about it when I was there about three months ago getting my 25000 mile check up. They said it was fine that I changed them and the warrenty was NOT void by doing so. I would check with the dealer you got your cars from though, Mini Of Peobody might just be cutting us some slack up here. The only thing they told me would void the warrenty was to change the SC pulley to anything other then stock. Last edited by racer714 : 11-09-2005 at 12:24 PM.

I have built a custom exhaust and the gain was 14bhp. I got it over my %15 pulley and software.. But it has a really very high sound which causes hard times with the cops ![]()
