aero kit ... price Q's

The website lists the aero kit to be priced at about $1200, so i go to the dealer and express my interest. They tell me "oh well..with paint and install it will come out to be $3,200.00." Is that right? DonDon, your car looks great. Do any of you others have pics of your Mini with the aero kit?

What does the kit involve? Front bumper, side skirts, and rear bumper? i don't know if i've ever seen the rear.

I'm thinking of getting a Mini S after i graduate college next May, so i'm getting all my facts straight.

We installed DonDon's kit after having it painted.. saved some $$ that way... the kit includes, grill pieces, front bumper, side skirts, and rear bumper.

How did you paint DonDon's fenders the color of the car? did you "bondo" the rough plastic and paint over that? if not, what was your technique and sequence of actions for the whole process? I've seen one other like that and its amazing how much better that looks. Great job!

If you want a how-to on installation, its easy. I've got one on my team's website...check it out if you want to install it yourself and save money.
