I think Im going to get a mini

I have been thinking about it for a while about getting a Cooper S for a daily driver, especailly with the nice low monthly payments the mini select program provides. I was wondering if you guys could help me decide what color. Here is what I am thinking, either the dark gray with black roof, or yellow with black or yellow roof (wheels would definitely be black). At firs tI thought white and after seeing one in person today it will drive me nuts that the white is like a dirty white. As much as I didnt want black since I dont want to have to take care of 2 black cars, TomM's makes that decision so damn difficult. Why couldnt a mini come in Laguna Seca Blue Could you guys post pics of modified minis in the dark gray, yellow, or black colors. Thanks

I personally love my navigation system..... but I also think the centrally mounted speedo on non-nav MINI's is ugly

Ii dont blame ya Tye, i had thought about getting one myself and test drove a cooper S at Mini nw. WOW!! what a fun little car. tons of pull, i was doing ~70mph in 4th getting onto the highway. but i'm not up for the year wait in order to get one. so i think i might just stick with the 318 for a while for a daily. if you do end up getting one, i hope you have alot of fun with it as i did when i test drove one.

That is the BEST part of the MINI. Nothing is more satisfying than pushing your car to the limits down your favorite back road.

Before you go out and buy one, the thing that I've noticed about Mini's is that the seat position isn't very comfortable. I'm only 5'11, and know that my torso is longer than my legs, and they still feel somewhat cramped. My driving style is probably closer than usual given that my friends of the same height sit further back, but something is screwy with the setup. I dunno, my girl said the same thing after she sold her Jeep Grand Cherokee for the Mini, and she is only 5'3 and does not have any knee issues like I do. Something to think about...maybe if you have a rental car place near your house where you can go sit in traffic with the Mini and determine if it is the right vehicle for you.
