What is the most power capable or heard of coming from the Cooper S?

What is the most power capable or heard of coming from the Cooper S? My father loves them and might get one as a weekend rocket and will have me fix up for like his last car.

Seems like there has recently been a bunch of preliminary reports of systems being developed that are producing 250+ hp some claim nearly 300hp.

Reasonably, right now it seems it is not too difficult to get near the 200hp mark. (I believe the European Car Project MINI has this as their goal)

300 whp would be the most I would guess if you used nitrous. I've seen 250+ whp on an S who sprays, and he thinks he can get even more with a Turbo set-up.
