Talking She's coming together very well

Had these on now for about a week.

Yes, I know the car needs to be lowered. I've got the springs but I rub already with 3 people in the car, and while I don't carry people often, I just know it's gonna rub really bad. So I'll probobly have the wheels machined down to fit better inside the fenders. Or as someone suggested to me, just get wider fenders . But I think I may push my dad to get some coilovers and try and make it sound like putting the springs on to be a hassle.

Tom

nice wheels... if you are rubbing on the outside then lowering may reduce your problem at the expense more neg camber...

observe

I figured that might happen. Either way, BBS is sending us a fender roller for the plastic fenders. So we're gonna do that first, then put the springs on and see how it does.

Thanks for the pic ESP.

Looks awesome man!!... nice choice on tires too!!

I was in Vishal's Cooper S over the weekend, he has H&R Sport springs on the car with stock shocks and I didnt notice any rubbing problems at all. In fact, the car wouldnt budge with 2 people pushing on the front shock towers

one thing I have noticed is wheel/tire combinations and offsets are what is getting people with rubbing, especially if you run the calculations and you notice that the diameter shrinks when going to a larger wheel. I am starting to consider wheels for my Cooper and am going to try and find out exactly what is tried and true with no rubbing...
