Mechanic/Dealership Recommendations (Part 2)

My favorite mechanic these days is Martin's Auto Service in Gaithersburg, MD. Dan Martin personally works on a lot of vehicles. My one gripe is that he will not install aftermarket parts, but for routine maintenance, especially on slightly older vehicles, he is very good.

I previously used BMW Excluservice for a lot of work, but the last time I used them the man himself worked on my car and did some suspect electrical work.

Curry's in Dulles/Sterling

Seriously will do whatever work you need, really, really well. The price is not exactly cheap, but they have some really good mechanics.

What kind of work do you need done? I would recommend different shops for different work.

For that I would vote for RRT - they are a Motul dealer and specialists with 3-series.

I'm just going to quote this because I have taken my old silver e36 here a couple of times and have experienced nothing but the best in terms of service and interaction.

As everyone knows, it's hard to find a trustworthy shop, but I would suggest given these guys a chance. They know their stuff.
