pittsburg area?

Just wondering if anyone is from around the pittsburg area, im planning on starting classes at wyotech in blairsville PA and just wanted to know what the area was like.

From what I remember, there is a pretty cool downtown area. Pittsburgh does an adequate job of providing some cultural outlets such as live music or art exhibits.

Although not my cup of tea, my friend always joins these social clubs whenever he moves to a new city. There are regular gatherings or barbecues, and you get introduced to a lot of new people (read: women).

Congrats on going to Wyotech as well, when I used to own a garage we regularly looked at applicants from Wyotech, but Maryland was a little too far for most of them to move to. If you are willing to move to where there is work, I'm sure you will have many opportunities upon graduation.

thanks, yeah i went and toured the school friday and it was pretty nice. The area seemed alittle boring around blairsville but theres a few nice size cites surrounding it so i guess it wont be too bad. Lots of freakin hills!
