the camera picked up the ends funny all across they all cut off equally

edit:
Ill post pics of the whole front end tomorrow as there is still tape on the passenger side (to hold the rings till the epoxy dries completely)

Looking good, hmm.. US version of E28 smaller lamps than european? Look's like E30 to me.

i thinks they are the same size but the mounts are different you cannot put the e30 retainer buckets into an e28 also this whole conv cost me less that 100.00 to do both sides

myne also cut off at the top as the e39 do it looks more factory in my op-inion also the euro uses the low 7 in and the high 5'3/4 inch lights

So euro E28 don't have same headlights than US E28?

Cost me less than $25 to make.... consistant brightness, more of a factory angel eye look.

yeah myne were cheap to do also but i did them over and over my camera is funny though my are also uniformly the same color

Mine are uniform as long as you are at the right angle. Because of the rings being different depths from the viewer (because the lights are staggered), you get a non-uniform look although it really is. I did spend like $40 making mine meet my own standards of brightness/durability, but if I had to make them again, I'd be able to do so with $20

yeah me too i like it though it up dates the look of the cars also
i think i am the first to try it an an e28 car too so that makes it kind of tight also
i really like yours how you can turn them off/on seperatly

I can't turn them on/off seperately, my sig has a pic of when I had just the highbeams done... now i have all four done. I can, however, blink them left to right... it seems the parking light switch has a half way catch point where it makes contract with the left side, and then the "full", or right side.... meaning both... so I can like do off, left, left +right (on). It's sweet to blink at people hehe.

damn thats tight i wish i could do that with myne im gunna try to use a light switch from a merc c280 as they can select left/right/both so ill try that maybe not to bite your style but ya know different models right

yes for e28. in europe (and other parts of the world) the low beams are a larger diameter than the high beams. in the u.s. and canada, the low beam and high beam are the same diameter.

How did you make them for twenty dollars, did you use the curtain rods with LEDs? They look great
