short shift for e34 540

what is the best short shift kit for the e34 540 6-speed? i just ordered the dinan chip, induction tube, springs, and sways. i am looking to see who all makes kits for my car and also if any of you know any companies that make cross drilled or slotted rotors that would be a big help too.

I've been happy with the Autosolutions SS kit in my E34 M5-have had it for about 5 years with no problems.
For Crossdrilled or Slotted rotors try KVR-they carry Brembo Rotors.

yeah i had kvr's on my acura 3.2TL and they were very nice. i just wasn't sure if anyone knew of any other companies that might offer them. are there any links to that company that makes the short shifter?

oxford green metallic. i am not up in port richey that often and i have only had the car for a couple of months. where do you get your car worked on or get your parts? i have european performance in st. pete getting everything for me.

It's Black.
I hardly ever go to Tampa-when I do I usually take another car.
I get my cars worked on by Import Car Service in Port Richey-have used them for 20 years.They're reliable and honest.
Parts-wherever they're the cheapest!

If anybody has their original shifter components...can you sell me them PLEASE...When I bought my car it had some knock-off SS kit, it is sooooo notchy...I will buy any parts that anyone has...thanks

mel: that is a great looking car. those rims look sweet on it. are there any other people in the tampa area? and do you ever go to any of the local car shows or the track?

mafia: i am probably not going to get the short shifter for a couple of months (have some research to do) but i will keep you in mind.

Haven't seen too many E34's in the Tampa Bay area.
I'm active in the BMWCCA Drivers Schools as an instructor and between them and the Acura NSX Club that I also instruct for,I get to do about 6 Drivers Schools a year-mostly at Sebring.
I'll be instructing at Moroso on Sunday Nov.3rd.

Most of the local car shows are frequented by Hondas-hardly ever see a Bimmer there.

i have only seen a few modded e34's and those two e34 m5's that used to be up in avila all the time (haven't seen them for a while). my friend had a 525i w/ appearence mods (throwing stars, dinan lowering springs, etc.) but they seem to be few and far between around here. do you ever go to the track? i have been to bradenton motorsports park a few times and i will probably go back once i get the new parts on the car.
