E28 Diff

Hi all,
After collating various bits of info off the net, this is the asumption I'm making.
The E28 Diff is a direct bolt in, after you swap the rear cover for the E30 one

Can someone please confirm this or set me straight.

Direct bolt in after you swap the rear cover and axle flanges.

Axle Flanges??
Are they not the same 6 pattern as the E30 big case??
