Any news about a new 5 series?

I have heard some rumors from the press that the 5 is going to inherit the 7 series' "rump"

saw a photo/drawing a few months ago, looks like a smaller version of the new 7.

however, still need to see some "official" pics.

I'm pretty sure I've seen the same pic, and it was just a photoshopped 7-series......very little changed

hopefully Bangle won't fuck it up too bad

They do, that's why most of the executives since Bangle has joined have left.

Anyway, I'm still in love with my E34 and plan on owning it forever as probably a daily driver or a regular car while letting my more wild cars get weekend use. I plan on extensively modding, staring with huge Porsche brakes some time in the near future.

I went to the BMW Dealer in Melbourne City Austrlia.
And my friend there, Denis says theres no word about a new 5 series yet cos the E39 will be arond for a few more years. So expect a new model in mid 2003 to about late 2005.

That should solve a FAQ.

And Dennis also says it would more than likly have styling clues similar to the 7 series.
