Fastest E39

What is the biggest engine modification you have seen or heard
of for an E39 and what stats does it have?

Biggest thing I have seen yet is the EVO 600 modification done
by G-Power for the M5 which provides

600 hp, 700 nm, V/max 330 km/h (~207 mph), 0-60 in 4.5s

For this mod you have to put ~ $65.000 on the table.

Anyone beats this?

Dinan and Rms are making superchargers for their cars i heard about 550 hp on the stock engine.
Is G-powers mods done with the stock engine??

why did they have to hack the lines of that car with spoilers and fascia? it looks great stock...

G-POWER Supercharger conversion EVO 600 - manual transmission. Conversion of modified 5.0l G-POWER-engine.

Output: 442kW (600hp), 0.60 bar boost pressure, consisting of:
Integrated supercharger in series strap-drive,
with high-performance centrifugal clutch for declutching in neutral,
G-POWER sport air filter,
G-POWER sparking plugs,
optimized airbox (intaking system) of light plastic parts,
aluminium air cooler,
stainless-steel air way pipe,
adjustment of the engine electronic,
fuel-injection system
and G-POWER logo. Incl.

auxilliary equipment:
Optimized G-POWER stainless-steel exhaust system,
GPR clutch and G-POWER speedo up to 340 km/h.

Output: 442kW (600hp) / 7250 r.p.m.
Max. torque: 700 Nm / 4580 r.p.m.
V-Max: more than 330 km/h
0-100 km/h: approx. 4,5 sec.

bahh, supercharging an S62 is just a BAD idea IMO. I think its smarter to take advantage of some breathing upgrades; that alone has yielded about 100 hp increases...

They also have normal mods as following:

G-POWER engine conversion EVO 530
G-POWER engine conversion to 390kW (530hp), 650 Nm

consisting of:
G-POWER headers,
stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system,
adjustment of motor electronic,
fuel-injection and Double-Vanos.

Output:
kW (530hp) / 7200 r.p.m.
Max. torque : 620 Nm / 4600 r.p.m.
V-Max: more than 315 km/h
0-100 km/h: 4,8 sec.

But we are talking about maxing out and you won't get to
600+ hp without supercharging I guess

I agree with onebadm5

Force inducting a M5 is a bad idea. The car is simply awesome the way it is, plus you are only asking for serious problems. I on the otherhand would take the other approach, finding untapped power in the engine, just like the folks at Nowack in Germany.

Can you say 503 bhp at 7,700 rpm with 465 lb-ft of torque at 3,400 rpm NATURALLY ASPIRATED!! With a top speed of 198Mph!!

Well the Nowack Kit is as traditional as the G-POWER engine
conversion EVO 530 but it has a lower output.

And you do not need trash the lines of the car with spoilers, they
are always optional of course although they have aerodynamic
use and are not done for style only.

Well in all fairness the G-Power body kit is fine looking up to the rear apron. The rear spoiler and roof spoiler do not go on such a car. Do you have other pics of the body kit? Front faschia, side skirts?

Also the G-Power kit, does it increase displacement?

Either of which the car is awesome with 400, 500, or even 600 hp, because lets face it, unless you live in Germany, or take part int he Gumball rally when will you actually see 200Mph?

I totally agree that the rear and roof spoilers are not fitting and
I won't put those on my car.

For more pics check out the G-Power website (Gallery > BMW 5er E39).

And yes, beeing able to max out those cars on our Autobahn
at night makes it worth living here. I took a standard M5 for a
ride last week, blasting across the country for about 70 miles at
top speed wasting every car I encountered ... I could not get the
smile out of my face for hours

It has been sold several times yet, so I do not think so.

Of course there are few people who can afford it but they exist
and G-Power trades their cars all over the world. The last one
went to Dubai by the way.

It is obvious that they sell the "normal" mods most of the time
like Dinan and others do.
