Might be getting an M5 E39 motor with 6 spd trans and interior!

My friend is at the auction right now trying to get a 2001 m5 motor with 6spd trans with black interior. Just trying to get a feel to see if anyone might be interested. Again this is not a for sure thing yet. Thanks!

$3,500 for an S62 and M5 transmission? You almost got it at that, it's worth multiple times more than that. If you guys had bought it and sold it on ebay at anything close to that, you would have made a killing. I'd pay well over 10k for that stuff.

Well, unless some people with some idea of what they're doing didn't step through the door until the gavel was about to come down, they never almost "had it" for $3,500.

so he had a chance to bid on it, woopy doo, maybe some dude walked in the door and laid down 10 g's for it...
