upgrades for the m20 5 series

anyone hear of anything without going turbo/super

or shoudl i be in the e30 fourm with all the other m20s?????

i used to have that car before mine, i sold it cause it was underpowered, but it was a 90... anyways um i think it would be cheaper and more fun doin an engine conversion...

Cheapest route is a 3.5L M30. New wiring harness is about all you need (in addition to the engine) You could also do a metric mechanic Sport M20 with like 215 HP. More expensive is an M50/S50 conversion. Need engine, subframe, transmission, rear, driveshaft.

V8? Too much money, not THAT nice an engine. Plus its heavy. If you wanted mad power, a S50 swap with superchgarger is much more fun and about the same cost I'd imagine. Don't bother with a V8.
