e28 auto to manual conversion

im looking to install a junkyard getrag 265 into my 1988 528e. ive found a 1987 325i with what i think is a G265, i have also found a 1982 733i which i was told runs a getrag 265. I was wondering if anyone had any info of whether or not either of these models came stock with the 265. if not what models had the 265?

Also if anyone has any info on either links to this conversion or other helpful links it would be greatfully appreciated. if not, any helpful advice would be great as well.

I know it came in the e24 635csi but Im not sure how many of those you will find in the states. Call BMR and see what they can do for you.
