540 twin exhausts

hey guys, just a quick question, just got my 540 and want to put a twin exhaust on it and so the r/h muffler doesnt hang to low im going to have to cut a section of the spare wheel well out i was wondering if all those guys who have done that have some photos of theres after its done or if any of the m5 guys have some photos of the floor would be great!!

I don't think it would be a problem to do a true dual quad setup on a 540i. I think any muffler shop or performance shop for that matter would be able to set it up for you without too much of a problem. I don't think the spare tire section would get in the way too much. I'll try to find some under photos of dual exhaust set ups on 540i's for you and post them in another message.

This is the best that I could find but a you can see there was no modification needed to fit the dual exhaust around the spare wheel compartment.
