guys im really lost with this at the moment. ive pulled the door skin off and had a look.
took the central locking actuator off the mounting area and just hanging from the wire to check its operation. turning the key in the door it hardly opens or closes (actuator). also when i shake the actuator in my hand i can hear little plastic things rattling inside so im guessing its all broken inside or something .... replacement on this i guess...
the other thing is that now since the central locking actuator is not in the door, it still wont budge? the mechanisms that is. i try to pull and push the door lock from inside and it wont budge. seems like its stuck and just doesnt move at all ???
does this mean more than just the central locking actuator is stuffed?
mind you all my other doors work fine. passenger, rears etc they all work fine whether i try to open or lock the doors from the outside passenger or drivers door. its just the drivers door is buggard and im trying to suss out exactly what is stuffed.
i was thinking it would just be this actuator but the mechanical mechanisms dont even budge. more than just the actuator stuffed???
ive been searching and trying to find techs on different articles but im not really having that much luck

im not all that bmw friendly either so i may have even read passed it and not understood it....
i have uploaded a video on youtube so you can check it out...
