Cold Air This is my first post in the group. I have a 2002 540i with the sports package and I love it. However, I noticed the vent on the center console that blows into the back seat only blows cold air. I have moved the temperature dial to three red dots but the air is still ice cold. This is not a problem in the Summer months but winter in Chicago is a bear! Does anyone know what is the deal with this? What do I need to do to remedy it?

there is a plastic tunel in the central console which is responsible for warm/cold air redirecting to the rear of the back seat. It seems to me like the warm air stream is blocked to the back.

Thanks for the reply. I only have a couple more questions. How do I check if it is blocked? Is this in Bentley's? Is it easy to do or should I take it to a mechanic?
