rim help over here plz!!!!

i am interested in putn sum 20" rims with a nice lip on my m5 and im wonder if a 285 35 20 will fit. if so how much room will i have to lower it, if so how many inches.

Why such a big rim? 20's are kinda past the point of 'performance' there aren't they?

I would usualy agree with this post but on a M5 I thinks 20's would look and perform fine assuming you choose the right ones

Def. not going to lose performance, but I just see it as 'excessive'. I would prefer some nice 18/19's, but to each his own! 20's will def. look good.

PS-Pretty sure 285 35 20 will fit. Maybe a 'lil rub at lock, but not serious.

The Tire size calculator can tell you the differance in OD and width between what was OEM and what you are changing to. Keep in mind that it will not calculate the differance in the offset of the rim.

One thing that would answer your questions is to talk to the dealer about what will fit the car. Just don't buy them from him, LOL...
