| I drove a 325i that Metric Mechanic's Courtney McCoy had put M3 cams into, done tuning and i/h/e mods to. It was really really peppy. I actually swapped over to an S50, because one made itself avalible, but if I hadnt of found this I would have just done the S50 cam and tuning. I think you use the S50 or S52 intake cam, and if i recall correctly swap the m50intake cam over to the exhaust side? Might want to ask in the 3 series forum to be for sure, but on the issue of if its worth it? Yes.

| 1992, I don't think you have vanos... If you don't then no, this swap isn't for you. If you have vanos then yes, enjoy it and get the proper tune. 220 @ the wheels with ALL the right toys is able. If you're a non vanos engine like I suspect, buy a 262 schrick intake cam and put your stock intake cam on the exhaust side. Same lift and duration as an M but with double valve springs. Good stuff. And get some pink top (22 pounds) fuel injectors from a 95 M3, should be cheap since they all upgrade to 24. |

| i believe you can use a s52 intake cam on the intake side of a non-vanos m50 and then swap the m50 intake cam into the exhaust side, I'de double check on bimmerforums.com, though. |
