| Do you know what the US equivalent of the KU31s is? The one thing I noticed on a quick google search is that the 31s seem to be put on mostly smaller imports (civics etc). A lot of times a tire that works well on a small/light car, won't do so well on a big heavy car like an E39. The F1 GSs you are coming from are one of the best performance tires on the market. They are in the same class as Pilot Sport 2s, RE050s etc. I don't think Kumho currently makes a tire in this same class. But for the price, the higher end Kumhos do give a lot of performance.

| Yeah, I'm currently in the process of finding parts for my '00 E39 528i. I'm def looking at going to Dinan this summer and getting the chip. I'm also going to have to go for the transmission chip because I have an automatic . I'm also looking into the bigger bore Dinan throttle body too. I have a question though and maybe you guys can help me out. I am looking to add Conforti CAI. I can get it from Turner Motorsport and I hear they are pretty good. I don't plan on going cheap on my car at all and I was wondering if anyone knows of any other good CAI's for the M52. |
