A/C works but cuts out on high. Any fix?

My A/C works fine on the first or second blower setting but if I put it on 3 or 4, after a short time it stops. If I turn it off for a couple of minutes and turn it back on it works again. Does anybody know what this is caused by and how to fix it?

EDIT: OK saw it in your profile, just put it in the body of the text next time. Does this problem occur when using the heat as well? Fan speed is regulated independently of the AC and Heat (to an extent). If the fan is not turning on/off properly, it means that the control panel needs attention. Your car uses IHKRIII system. You might need to change the resistor packs under the dash behind the left side carpeted trim panel.

Thanks for the tip. It only fails on A/C. Any way to test them?
