| I'm sorry to hear that your headlights are screwed up. Would it help if I took photos of my Hella install?

| I started taking the lights out and hit my first obstacle. The tray's that are under the PS res. Looks like I try to remove them or work around them by bending them back. I dont have a manual, so I have no idea whats under the lights holding them in. Bolt? clip? Are there only four locations holding the bracket in? I am disappointed in the quality of instruction for the Layman though. Any help appreciated.

| Thanks for those that helped. Lights are in and look sharp. I havn't hooked up the angel's yet for that is another day. Lights are easy to take out. I thought it would be more difficult than it was. FYI for all... Just four bolts and unplug the bulbs, and I didnt have to cut the power. Reverse that for install and dont forget the trim piece and gasket that sticks to the old light. Depo's have my seal of approval.

| Thanks, Legendary! I'll probably run into a prob tonight when I try to hook it up. So far, I have put in the lights, put the bulbs in, attached the wiring that went directly to the bulbs to the depo hookups, and just have the angel eye wiring and harness left. there is an extra male 2 pin receiver that dangles with the AE wiring, I think its extra for maybe HID or something. I will check it out again and post when I do. Again, thanks.

| yes, you are going to end up not needing one of those harnesses, but do not cut it off. If you were to cut it, the AEs will not illuminate. It is weird how they were setup, but once wired, they will look better than OEM imo.

| Well as luck would have it, my mechanic, Count, is booked for a week or more so maybe you can. I will take a pic of the remaining wires I have left and the harness and maybe you can give me some advise if thats alright?

| Angel's in!!! Found out something very important regarding these Depos... wiring harness is useless. I just tapped into my parking lights with crimp connectors and fuses, a couple of zip ties and wallah! I lost one of my headlight bolts in the underpan though. Here I come ACE hardware. The lights are way easier than I thought. The crappy instructions make it look complicated, as it is not explained very well. In fact, your supposed to get to the wiring under the cabin filter. Does it tell you that, no. No Harness Instructions: More like suggestions. I am not liable for your install, no matter how good or bad you do. On the Drivers Side, just use the brown as ground from the blinker and tap into the black wire. the grey green wire from the blinker is the hot that goes to the blue wire and done. On the Passenger side, the colors are different. My ground was the same but the hot was grey blue wire to the same AE configuration. Hope this helps someone out!

| I would like more information on how to install these as well. I am interested in upgrading my 2000 lights to the newer look. I am torn between buying the Depo's at a lower price versus being the Hella lights. I have stock Xenon and the auto-leveling feature as well. I found the Depos on ebay but they come with no instructions. Any and all advice is welcomed. |
