540i or real M5?

Well lets say he bought the 540i just plain. He would have had to get the front, rear bumper, the side skirts. The angel eyes. The M5 rims, and some interior stuff. All i know is that accessories like that for an 540i are not cheap. So he probably must have had to have put in a good amount if he didnt get the car like that. Thats why i said why not just get the real thing

That's true, except for the fact that he probably didn't buy it (which I have no problem with), its the fact that he tried to tell everyone that it was an M5 and its not...I hate it when people do that crap, it just bugs me. He's lucky enough to have parents that bought him a really nice car, and he goes out and brags that he has something...that he doesn't even have!

But that being said HE probably didn't do squat, other than say "Daddy I want that one", the car is probbaly an M-Sport and it came that way from BMW. And he saw teh //M badge on th e shift knob and thinks it's an M5.

I know of daddys at my school that have dropped 65k on a brand new 06 M3 for their kid when they were hoping for the cadillac CTS-V. so its very possible

My car in high school was a 1974 Plymouth Duster.. slant six, but it was a 3 speed stick!.. It also had no power steering and 4 wheel drum brakes, also not power.. and it had 4 bald bias ply tires on it.. and a glass pack ;-)

My suspicions were correct! Took a walk by the car today and looked at the VIN number. What did it start with? WBA! so of course its a 540

Yea, this kid is really somethin tho. I comfronted him about teh car and he claims its still a damn M5! He said his dad had a swap done and they screwed up on the exhaust, but he still won't let me look under the hood. Oh well, the VIN # says it all
