Eiback or H&R lowering springs?

I have a 2000 528i with 99,000 Km on the clock.I'am planning to get either the Eibach or H&R lowering springs. I want to get the basic lowering which gives me a drop of 1-1.5" drop.

Anybody used these...?Any comments..? Do i screw up my OEM shocks in the long run?

I put H&R springs and spacers on my E60 M5 and I'm happy with them.
