How long to e39 live...........?

I have a e39 2000 528i German spec. With 98 k on the clock. Just starting to modify it.Nothing major.just cosmetic with rims & M5 body kit.

If maintained properly with a service history no hard driving.How long can these cars run..? 200 K or more...?

What milage do u guys have on your cars...?

Most of these cars can run forever, provided you give them TLC, scheduled services and stuff.

Most parts will need replacing at some point or another (timing belts, seals etc.) but that's all part of owning one

Timing chain for you car. But ya just keep with the scheduled maintance and it should last you atleast 200k. My old 1993 318is is still going strong at 247k.

IF MAINTAINED PROPERLY sure it will serve you forever, don't muk on these high quality engines !

sure nothing last forever but its going to work to the longer time possible!
My friend's car did nearly 265k
my car just reached the 100k

Hey Momo, doo to see another Beemer nut from the Gulf. I have a 2000 528i & its touched 95K now. Best part is now i'am thinking of modding the car.

Its great know that if maintained properly they'll touch 200K.Before u start pouring money in mods.

I have BMW 520 I Touring with 170k km or 106k miles and it runs just fine!
