You should post that in the Members Rides section Red Five

Thanks for the comments!! I really appreciate them. The bumper is now a permanent part of the vehicles front bumper support. The good thing is that the bodyman took exact digital pictures of the buildup to show where he covered them. The bad part is that I now have a turbo system that I want to install and the whole front end has to come off. Poor foresight on my behalf, but the problem is not insurmountable. Just a lil' expensive.
My car was in the reader's ride section in the November issue of Performance BMW. I was happy, but in order to receive a full story, they wanted a full build inside and out. It's currently being done anyway, so I'll see what happens.
The funny thing is that literally 1 hour before my car was going to get sprayed I changed the color from red to yellow, that's why my name is RED FIVE. Again, poor foresight......LOL.
The wheels are 3 piece Davin Speed SP1 that are color matched. They are 19X8.5 front and 19X10 rear with a 4 inch lip. 245/35/19 front tires and 275/30/19 rear. I just sold these and I'm upgrading to a 19 front and 20 rear with a 5" lip.

Here are some pics of a meeting we had of E34 M5's and E34 540iLE's (Aust version M540i) late last year. 5 M5's, 6 540iLE's and an e28 M535i thrown in. A full write up of the tour can be found at:

Great pics! I have never driven an E34 M5, but having lost to one on the highway, they are definitely impressive. On the other hand, the M540/540iLE are badasses in their own right.

Other than the 2003 540 Sport models, I don't think there is a modern equivalent of the E34 M540, and even the 2003 is a stretch. Given my disinterest in SMG equipped vehicles (or poorly matched V10 6-speeds ) , I will likely end up with a 550/6 one day.

Still looks great though. BMW has the proportions down when it comes to 5-series touring models - can't say the same for other manufacturers.
