Radiator Leak: '88 M5

Can anybody offer a new guy to the BMW marques some advise on replacing a stock radiator? I have developed a leak.

Seems wise just to replace it rather then trying to fix it. Any thoughts? Expericence with OEM suppliers vs. Upgrades would also be welcome.

I just replaced mine with a brand new OEM ($800 for the radiator alone) and this new one leaked worse than what it replaced. I haven't driven it for two weeks. I can't see how an aftermarket one could be any worse as long as it is from a reputable supplier.

Get a BENTLEY repair manual, that would really help you out and save you some money on things instead of taking the car to someone to get things fixed

Thanks; good advise. I fully intend on buying a Bentley's manual.
However, I am still left with a leakng radiator. My question was for advise on repairing or replacing it. And whether OEM vs after market was a better choice. Any thoughts?

Thanx, Mkarkos. I am sourcing a radiator. So Far the only supplier coming up is Behr.
