| thinking of chipping my 1990 525i it's got almost 200 tho kms on it, there's some pretty good deals on chips from ebay, and it looks easy enough to install, would u reccomend installing a chip on a bmw with this many kms?      |

| Chipping it doesnt cause any wear and tear per se. But it only might cause more wear and tear due to the willingness to rev it and wring out the engine. Yours has an M20 engine correct? Not yet the M50/M52 Mariano
