Wow, the same sedan comparison in C&D that has the auto 540 running 14.3 @97 has the GS430 running 14.5 @99mph

Ya the GS430 is a decent car. Supposed to have the fastest
Automatic transmissions in the world. I've raced them on the freeway and had no problems pulling on them. I do have a few mods on my car as the sig indicates. The 3.15 diff will be installed today. The sc400 has to be a much liter car.

The GS 430 is quick, but I am not sure about it being the fastest auto tranny car in the world. Mercedes AMGs and Jaguars XJ-Rs are out there.

yep..370 I believe. The new S type R (don't let the ridiculous name fool you) will be outfitted with the 4 liter v8 complete with blower, good for 400hp and 400lb-ft. It will also employ Jaguars first 6 speed automatic (ala new 7 series). I'm quite interested to see how it performs.
