| Alternator terminals... Hi,
I used to have an E34 520i, but some twat blew it up and I managed to salvage a few parts, namely the alternator and four alloys.
OK, so fast-forward a year and a half. My mother bought me a Range Rover (1990, 3.9EFi V8) and I've been working on it, restoring it bit by bit.
So, I rooted out the alty from the shed. 115a should do nicely over the stock 80A RR alt. One problem - I've found the large battery + terminal, nada bother...but which one is for the tach?! There looks to be a 14.5v regulator on the alty too..that correct?
