| I had the same problem on my e36. It turned out I had a leak on the hose coming out of the master cylinder down to the clutch. Because of that, air got in and made it so the clutch wouldnt disengage. Try topping off the fluid and bleeding the slave cylinder...i think thats what its called. Well, it has a nipple like thing kind of like what brakes have. And the process is similar to bleeding brakes....except your doing it to a clutch. When I did, I had a lot of air bubbles in the line. After I bled it, it didnt make any noise and it worked fine.
