Any experience with Yokohama AVS sport tyres?

I have a E39 528i with the 540 18" BBS OEM rims. I'am thinking of installing the Yokohama AVS sport tyres.They have a great 'V' groove design. But are they quiet..? I want tyres that are quiet. Any one with any experience.?

i have them on my e34 535 and like them. i upsized from 17-18" and went from goodyear eagle f1 gsd3s (amazing tire would love to buy again) but had to find more budget-conscious tires for the 18s. they are very easy to predict and don't mind getting sideways even when its dry which is always a good time. much easier to control a drift when its dry IMO. i don't think they are noisy but i don't have a big issue with noise period cause i'm running straight pipes and probably wouldn't hear it anyhow...

I was going to install them on my e36 m3 (had them already on my previous car eclipse gsx turbo) but after talking with a vendor friend of mine i have changed my mind because he said they are not quiet absolutely !
He suggested me to install the very most similar "V" tires - goodyear f1 gsd3 - also more efficient in wet conditionsand of course more quiet.
