haha unbelievable... I lived in Taiwan for 5 years before i came to the states for college (my parents were missionaries) and this really does not surprise me in the least. I remember talking to alot of guys that where into racing and stuff over there and one day a guy pulled up in a 98 mitsubishi eclipse that he had modded out to almost 220 hp. and the guys at the shop thought it was the greatest thing they had ever seen.... In other words, i can just see the look on that dumbasses face when he put the pedal to the medal and realized that it was "kind of" fast... when you have a country full of guys boasting over their 190 hp. civic, and you give them an M5 what would you expect? I remember another day a guy pulled up to the shop in a ferarri and everyone was calling their friends to come have a look. The guy who owned it was a french guy that was working for a company in taiwan. i got to talking to him, it turns out that in reality he had the only ferrari in Taiwan at the time (i think that was in 1999 or 2000). there had been like a total of 20 imported to taiwan and 19 of them where reported as "totaled"... So ya, this does not surprise me in the least. I can only imagine what those guys would of done if i would of pulled up in my M3 now, lol... i guess it's back to the scooters (vespa's) boys...
