Hello i have just joined the DTM sight and have become fascinated by all the available information. To start off, I am only 17 years old and have just purchased my first car, a 1994 530i with only 55,000 thousand miles. I have a few questions about the car and I am ready to start modifying it. (I do not have a high paying job and can do modifications only if i have the available cash lol.)
1. Has anyone ever owned an e34 and had strange "swirl marks" ( the color is sterling silver) in the paint?? After i wax the car with a buffer they go away, but quickly return if it rains or after a week of daily driving. Is there anything i can do to remove these swirls or is it timer for a new paint job, and if so, how much does a decent one cost?

2. I am currently looking for a set of e39 style 32 rims. (They kind of look like Alpina but not.)

I am also open to any suggestions on some tasteful modifications. My digital camera broke so it will be a while before I can post any pictures.
