| Can a mod please move this to E30 section?
Yes the M20 can mate to the M50 engine, but you have to tilt it and the lever will be somewhat tilted to the right, I believe. ALso it takes the power of the M50 but it doesnt like it. Id install it and meanwhile look for an M50 tranny. If you cvan buy the M50 tranny, then do it. But the M20 tranny will do, for a time.
