| If you are going to drop a new engine in go with an S50 or S52. As for the M30 you can get PLENTY of power out of that thing if you F/I it. 3.5 liters = roughly 214 cubes. With a good turbo setup you can easily and safely squeeze 2.0 HP per Cubic Inch which is a healthy 430 HP at the crank.

| I haven't ever seen it but good luck. The aftermarket on the Nissan will be huge, but beware of wiring problems. I wouldn't put it past you to spend atleast $1k on just having the nissan ecu to play nice in a BMW. As far as fitting, well you would have plenty of space. And weight would prolly be equal if not lighter than what you have right now. Just remember being the first means you will prolly be looking at $3k min custom work even if you do most of it, not adding on to about $2k for a good front clip off a gtr. And this is on the extreme cheap. |

| There is a E36 in Norway with an Toyota Supra Twin-Turbo engine installed. Goes pretty damn good! ![]() If I were u I would mount a turbocharged M50 or an S38. Check with the guys at http://www.pure-pf.com/ here in Sweden. They know turbo-bimmers like no one else! |
