That car must have been parked in the same spot for over a week. Either that or the thieves knew the owner's routine and knew they had enough time to jack the wheels and taillights without a problem.

Now, don't get me wrong. It sucks big time that the wheels and taillights were stolen. But if you have an M5 and lived in the city, would you leave your car parked in the same spot for a long period of time? Heck, I wouldn't leave my car parked ANYWHERE in the street for more than an hour or two.

NYC isn't THAT bad. And it's always out-of-towners or B&T people complaining about how awful and dangerous it is.

Probably are broken and will be sold to some poor E-bay dude or cheapo in Mexico who will tape them on his civic. Sucks - but he should be thankful it wasn't the car.

They probably just jacked it up one corner at a time (or one side, took off the wheels, then let that side down on the ground and went on to the next side.

You really think anyone in NYC pays attention to any car alarms that go off? Unless you had a two way and your car notified you no one else would care. Sad but true

What makes me wonder, is why all the other cars are parked all around it,..darn If I saw that, would have to find safer spot to park.
