Need help with E28

Iight I bought my e28 from a guy who hadn't touched it for a good 10 years. So I bought it for 500 bucks, now for me that was a great investment because I can fix it up, and sell it for the double the price. However i need some help, with the car. I've tries to get it started many times, I've changed the main relay....I put some new cables that connect to the transmission (2 cables). And thats about it. BUT IT STILL DONT START!!!! Can anyone please assist me? I need as much input as possible. Any ideas on how to fix it, or what the problem can be?

Check the main things -- Fuel and spark.
The relays could be bad after all that sitting.
