Sylvania Silverstar lights I went to Advanced Auto today and they had the Sylvania silverstars for like $30 for a set of 2. What do you guys recommend? what should I get for high beams/low Beams? What should I use to replace my lower fog lights?

i have the silverstars in both my lows and fogs (high beams seem pointless) but they are great and with both changed they really do make a big diff, on my car at least. my friends say they can always pick me out of other cars in their rear view mirror cus of them. i say go for the silverstars

| want them to be brighter? high beams use 9005 type bulbs while 9006 bulbs are used for the lows. get 9005 silverstars and do the 9005 to 9006 conversion. the conversion can be found at www.bmwe34.net

on my wrx i have silverstars and they look nice and white compared to stock and enhance visabilty by a noticeable amount. but i assume your 5's lights are alrerady better and silverstars wilkl help in appearance, but may not to a tremendous amount for your visibility..just my thoughts

Well, I bought silver stars for temporary use, till I get my Euro lights which use H1's. But, they make a HUGE difference in my E34. My car already has ULTRA bright High Beams, so I didn't bother getting Hi-Beams. And I got the Silver Star Fogs as well. So, if I was you, I'd mos def go with the headlights!
