| e39 check brake linings? On my dad's 1996 e39 on the gauge cluster it is stating check brake linings. I checked the pads and there's still quite a bit left. It's also saying check rear lights? Does anyone with a e39 have a clue what there talking about?      |

| I have a e34 and i had the same problem but the pads were gone,it could be the sensors on your brake's hope i helped i dont know about the lights |
