Making a unique 540i

I was diving around SoCal today and there were soo many BMW mostly 3er but still alot of 5s anyway, how do I make mine( when I get it ) different but still blend in to some degree. I was reading some forums about CF hoods and got the idea of a e46 M3 "power bulge" on a 540i. Would this be possable and can you paint CF? I know that the e36 hood opens forward but this shouldn't be a problem right? Just a idea to look alittle different

Any ideas or comments?

of course getting a nice set of wheels will make you stand out. a lot of the cars on this board have most of the same stuff. i would suggest saving up a bit more cash and getting a nice set of HRE's, for instance. on the same note, you don't want to stand out too much. the more individual you are, the more it seems to attract unwanted attention.

Wheels can make your car unique but its too easy, plus i like the throwing stars. The body kits are nice also but Im looking for something alittle more then a body kit. The hood i talked about would make the car standout but only to those in the "know". Any ideas or comments about the hood idea?

If you want something a little different but not too aggressive then I would go with a Racing Dynamics or MVR kit since not many people have those. If it was my car car personally I would use only AC Schnitzer incl. 19" 1 or 2 piece rims in silver, 8.5 in the front and 9.5 in the rear. Their stuff is the highest quality, but like Lorinser for Mercedes, it is the most expensive. Prob. has something to do with CEC pricing...just a guess. Hamann is nice but very common as that is the most asked for BMW line we carry.

clean kits in my opinion are ac schnitzer, m-technic, and after seeing the racing dynamics kit, i like that one also.

if you really want to be noticed, consider a zeemax kit. but i personally think those kits look like r!ce.

i'm starting to doubt the quality on some ac schnitzer items. my friend has 18" 3 piece type II's. both rear rims have cracks, one with one crack and the other with two cracks. they're getting repaired as we speak.
