coool!
i love those hamann style.
but the HRE's look even exotic...
those polished dishes... fantastic!

hey shragon.
those shadowline trims.
are those replacement trims or stickers or wrap-ons?

can spraying or matt-black sticker do the trick? will they as good as the "SD" trims?

P/S: i love the mirror finish on your car.
how many coats of paint and laquer u've got on?

i don't think e46 M3 hood is compatible with the e34 540 just based on the design. You might need to custom make it. Carbon fiber hoods are paintable but expensive. If you have the money get the ACSch. widebody kit. Not that many people have it just because it cost about 5g's but that kit looks MEAN!!! Zeemax kits are very flashy but they don't have that refined look. Rims are the easiest thing to do but once you get big rims you have to drop the car or else it'll look like your riding a SUV (too high). Other than that i would spend the rest on performance mods. especially suspension since this car has a lot of body roll and weights over 2 tons.

the hre's are dope. friend of mine has some on an e36 m3. they look really good! nice and polished!

shadowline was done with flat black spray paint. check out http://www.bmwe34m5.com for the procedure. i personally would not pay $500 for some black trim.

the paint is stock. actually has lots of swirl marks and some other little imperfections. would love to get a new paint job. black is so hard to maintain!

You can still buy the RD kit, its about $1500. Just dont do it, cause I already have it(just being selfish).

As far as the hoods go, good luck:

1. Nobody makes carbon fibre/fiberglass hoods because the market for such a product is so small.

2. the design of the e34 hood (both narrow and wide grill) is inconsistent with the newer hood off of an e46. The ridges in the hood that correspond to the kidney grills are too narrow, and would force the "power bulge" to be correspondingly small. IMO this would look very strange.

On the other hand, if you and enough others are really itching for a CF/Fiberglass hood, it might be possible to fabricate them. I am currently in the works to start a busness that will at first deal mostly with creating CF/Fiberglass hoods(Lowen Design). At the moment we are working on making only e30 hoods. If I can get enough takers who are willing to pay up front than it would be possible to do an e34 production run. I need the money up front because I currently dont have the capital to make molds for the e34, and in addition, once I did make the molds, I wouldn't make any more money because the demand would be filled rather quickly(there aren't too many people that want lightweight parts for e34s).

Just my thoughts, I would love to have a fiberglass hood, cause everybody knows how heavy the stock e34 hood is, but as far as I can tell its just not profitable.

Make it unique by putting the money underneath the hood or in the suspension and brakes. If you're only into looks, see if you can locate an Alpina kit, expensive, but by far the only classy aftermarket body mods I've seen.

I love the Schnitzer version.

It's funny why those popular aftermartket companies don't make bigger andd cooler bumpers for the E34.....

perhaps it's because most E34s are driven by executive who want it subtle....

IMO the best kit would be an RD front, Zeemax Sides and a Zender rear.

my favorite kit for the e34 is ac schnitzer's.

i once saw an e39 m5 style front bumper on an e34. the guy was from singapore. thought it looked pretty nice.
