looped it coming out of 4 (an uphill, off-camber right hander), spun down off the right side of the course and got WAY off into some tall brush. When I drove by seconds later the grass it was in had ignited and the driver was running back towards the flag stand. There were 3 foot flames coming from the back of the car. Luckily they got it extinguished before the gas could ignite or anything like that, but you can see what the heat did to that poor car.

I was at TWS sunday when it happened. It was so sad seeing it come off the truck. It was being driven by a father and son, the son was in the car and driving above his head.

Why do you say that. Its a non timed, non competitive event. They are covered by insurance.

I'm sure it depends on the insurance company. I've heard of track days being covered if they aren't timed like you mention, but I also know that my insurance company forbids any track use, timed or not.

Ok, because when I gone to Ste-Croix track, Quebec, I have to sign a discharge letter that tell I take the risk, and I have no insurance on the track... but we were timed...

I wish he was insured!

Well....sometimes you gotta get the flatbed to pull a few tricks for you--- like driving the carcass out onto the freeway and dumping it on the shoulder....

e30SD--- correct me, please; but aren't all the turbos 'S's? The last 993 C4s were all S body styles....i want one
