Exclamation BMW 's at the Nürburgring 24hr race....BIG PICS!
Here are two pics taken by me at the 24hr race at the Nürburgring last weekend. One is of the workscar of Hans-Joachim Stuck, who as a result of a gear-box problem in the very first stages of the race, ended up in 166th place overall. The other one is of a private E46 car owned by Johannes Scheid who finished in 6th place overall!
All together 3 BMW's ended up in the top 10. (6,9 and 10)

NICE!! Have you guys notice the headlights of those 2 cars? They are different from the production cars, notice the 2 xenon bulbs in each side....

No, bi-xenon means one bulb, two different settings (one for high beams, one for regular)...there's a small flap that cuts off some of the light on US cars.

I assume there are 4 xenon bulbs on those cars because you need at least 1 light coming from your car all 24 hours...considering the punishment those cars take, I wouldn't be suprised if one or two went out over the course of a day.
